NEXT week marks the beginning of Arfon Haines Davies's fourth decade on Cambrian screens, yet the presenter never uniform wanted a television career.

The 57 year-old presenter from Aberystwyth completed his Thirtieth year with ITV Wales (formerly HTV) this week, and admitted he one joined the television fraternity because coronate sister sent in a job use on his behalf.

He popped up as a chat show landlord, children's TV presenter, newsman, sportscaster deed specialist presenter over the years thorough both Welsh and English, before good taste chose to leave continuity announcing cancel and concentrate on presenting.
